Painting In different mediums, Pam’s creativity is not defined by one style. Her art can be softly impressionist, boldly abstract, or reflectively figurative . She incorporates methods that bring forth lights and shadows, movement and dimension, expression and reaction. Her art evokes pleasure and response, a story captured on canvas for the viewer to enjoy.
A little bit about me…
As a child, Pam wandered the aisles of her family’s large sporting goods store. Eventually, as a young adult she owned her own well regarded gift shop. Always having artistic vision and abilities, she used her discerning eye to choose and create an environment of elegance and charm in her business. She was in demand as an interior designer, nurturing her eye for design, composition , balance and color. With that foundation, Pam converted her interests and talents to canvas. Painting became the creative outlet she enjoyed the most.
From the beginning her art was well received, and Pam knew she wanted to learn and explore as many methods and styles of painting as she could. Reflections of a wide range of artists can be found in her work such as, Singer, Sargent, Monet, Bouguereau, and Sorolla. She has studied or interned under many artists: Tina Garrett, Dawn Whitelaw, Zhaoming Wu, Roger Dale Brown, Aaron Westerberg, Kathy Anderson, Karen Offutt, Daniel Keys, Kerry Dunn, Barbara Davis, Michael Story, Gina Brown, Ann Moller Steverson, Nancy Frank, David Nichols, Ann Blair Brown
